How to Vote

Vote by November 6th

Ballots were mailed on October 19th. You should receive yours soon if you have not already.

By Mail

You do not need a stamp. Make sure a mail carrier will pick up your ballot on or before November 6th. If you put your ballot in the mailbox after pick up on the 6th, it will be postmarked on the 7th and will not be counted.

At a Drop Box

Drop boxes are located throughout the district. They are open 24 hours a day until 8 PM on November 6th.

At an Accessible Voting Center

Accessible voting centers are available to voters who need assistance completing their ballot. Trained staff and specialized equipment are available to help voters with disabilities cast a private, independent ballot.

But wait, I’m not registered to vote!

The deadline to register by mail or online has passed, but if you are registering for the first time in Washington, you can do so in person until October 29th.

If you live in King County, you can register in person at the King County Elections HQ in Renton, or at the annex in downtown Seattle.

If you live in Pierce County, you can register in person at the Election Center in Tacoma.

For more information about registration see the King County or Pierce County elections websites.
